Getting Started

Set up your store in under 10 minutes

1 Create Your Account

Visit beava.ca/register and sign up with your email address. You'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.

After verification, you'll be taken to your dashboard where you can start setting up your store.

2 Configure Store Settings

From your Dashboard, go to Settings to configure:

• Store Name — Your business name that appears to customers
• Logo — Upload your brand logo (recommended: 200x200px PNG)
• Contact Email — Where customer inquiries are sent
• Currency — CAD, USD, or other supported currencies
• Timezone — For accurate order timestamps

3 Add Your First Product

Navigate to Products → Add Product and fill in:

• Title — Product name (e.g., "Organic Beeswax Candle")
• Description — Detailed product information
• Price — Regular price and optional sale price
• Images — Upload up to 10 product photos
• Inventory — Stock quantity and SKU
• Variants — Size, color, or other options

4 Set Up Payments

Go to Settings → Payments to connect your payment processor:

• Stripe — Credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
• PayPal — PayPal balance and cards
• Manual Payments — Bank transfer, cash on delivery

5 Configure Shipping

Under Settings → Shipping, set up shipping zones and rates:

• Shipping Zones — Define regions (e.g., Canada, USA, International)
• Flat Rate — Fixed shipping cost per order
• Weight-Based — Rates based on order weight
• Free Shipping — Offer free shipping above a threshold
• Local Pickup — Allow customers to pick up orders

6 Connect Your Domain

Your store is immediately available at yourstore.beava.store. To use your own domain:

1. Go to Settings → Domains
2. Enter your custom domain (e.g., www.yourbrand.com)
3. Add the provided DNS records to your domain registrar
4. Wait for DNS propagation (usually 15-60 minutes)
5. SSL certificate is automatically provisioned

7 Launch Your Store

Once configured, your store is live! Share your store URL and start selling.
